Who we are

Crossing Point Christian School (CPCS) operates as a weekday tuition program, offering classes for children aged 2 through 5 years since 1993. Our philosophy emphasizes the orderly and sequential growth of young children, providing a well-planned program with hands-on experiences.

Our goals for each child include:

  • Nurturing growth in spiritual, academic, emotional, and physical aspects.
  • Acknowledging and fostering each child's individual development stage.
  • Providing loving care from adults whose own lives exemplify commitment to Christ and the community.
  • Cultivating age-appropriate understandings, attitudes, and skills.
  • Instilling a sense of personal responsibility and the worthiness of oneself and others in God's love.
  • Encouraging creativity and imagination.

Thank you for visiting our website! We are excited that you are interested in our school. Crossing Point Christian School (CPCS), a ministry of First Christian Church McKinney, opened in the Fall of 1993.


We have an amazing and talented staff committed to your children and their educational future and we look forward to having your family here at Crossing Point. We are dedicated to the philosophy that young children grow in an orderly and sequential manner with predictable stages of development. We recognize that each child is unique and accept each child at their current stage of development.


It is our responsibility to provide help and challenges in this growing process. A balanced and well-planned program of “hands-on” experiences is offered in individual, small, and large group activities.


It is our intention to nurture the development of the whole child - physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth. As Christians and teachers, it is our desire to provide a loving and positive environment involving God and His principles in life.

We're seeking teachers with prior experience in an early childcare setting to join our community at Crossing Point Christian School. Our staff boasts an average tenure of eight years, so we're looking for individuals who are interested in becoming part of the family and staying for a while. At our school, we focus on teaching, nurturing, playing with, and loving children, helping them to become the individuals God has intended them to be.
